Interview by Dom Root

Take us through your music journey:

A: For eight long years, I held onto a dream: to host a mixtape. It was a vision I nurtured, a puzzle with a crucial piece missing. But as anyone who's chased a passion knows, sometimes you just need the right connection to unlock everything. That connection came through Illy Tha Spitta, a dope rapper who introduced me to the incredibly talented beat producer, OhkSteven. Suddenly, the missing piece clicked into place. The beats were there, the vision was clearer than ever, and it was time to make some noise! Knowing I wanted this project to be bigger than just myself, I decided to create an opportunity for other artists. I launched a social media campaign, inviting local Arizona artists to collaborate not only with me, but with each other. My goal was to foster a whole experience, something that most local artists rarely get a chance to be a part of. This wasn't just about putting tracks together; it was about building a community, sparking new connections, and giving artists a platform to shine. And why did I do it? Because I Am Bro and I genuinely love music and truly believe there's room at the table for everyone who's willing to pull up a seat.

What's the name and inspiration behind your upcoming project?

A: We Manifest Mixtape Vol.1 and it was inspired by all the growth I have had and the new healing language I have learned

ree

What are you hoping that listeners take away from the body of work?

A: We don't need toxic music anymore and the language of healing

ree

If I was new to YOUR music, what are 3 songs from your catalog that I should listen to first?

A: Found Peace, Come A Long Way, and Ole Ting Back

Who are some people who helped make this process possible or helped you get it across the finish line?

A: OhkSteven, who is the beat producer. Kieng, who is the recording/mixing/mastering engineer at IDDC Studios. Special shoutout to Illy Tha Spitta, Buds Glass Joint, and Candy & Records. Can't forget my guys Wynttrs, Dubeu, Kay Zilla (who actually gave me some advice on marketing) El Sol JG The Sun (with the longest artists name in the world, lol) and comedian Vibe Is King.

For fun: How would you spend 1 Million Dollars? (You just can’t save any of it!)

A: Buy land and start building a city

We Manifest Mixtape Vol. 1 isn’t just a title — it’s a declaration. AmBro is proof that when intention meets action, powerful things unfold. His belief that “there’s room at the table for everyone” is more than talk — it’s the heartbeat of this project. So if you’re seeking music with purpose, rooted in healing and community, this is your invitation to press play.
