Interview by Dom Root
Take us through your music journey:
J: What started off as nothing serious, nothing getting shared and full on a private listen to myself, slowly began to a small share within a small handful of listeners, and after positive feedback on the music when I wasn’t fully invested and giving a full effort on the music, and questioned myself to my limits to if I really tried with the music. It’s been fun from day 1, and a head down, foot on the gas movement ever since the good and positive reviews from earlier music. With aspirations to do big things with it now.
What's the name and inspiration behind your upcoming project?
J: “Desert Heat Diaries” ; having 7 features, and for the most part it being my first Arizona collab tracks, wanted to have that influenced in the title.

What are you hoping that listeners take away from the body of work?
J: There are great and talented musicians in Arizona for my passionate California listeners to discover.

If I was new to YOUR music, what are 3 songs from your catalog that I should listen to first?
J: “West Side Boy” “3AM In Phoenix” “Out Last”
Who are some people who helped make this process possible or helped you get it across the finish line?
J: Worked with a total of 4 different engineers, and 7 different artist on this single tape. With I believe 10 different producers throughout the tape as well.
For fun: How would you spend 1 Million Dollars? (You just can’t save any of it!)
J: It would probably be the dream Mercedes G Wagon, followed my a great music video or two, including promotional ads on those releases, album that holds those tracks with ads on those. A fly out back to the home state, Cali, and put together a festival of some sort, then similar in Arizona shortly after that. Remaining money to parents for believing in me.
JMack’s Desert Heat Diaries is more than a mixtape — it’s a sonic bridge between two homes, two influences, and two stages of his evolution as an artist. With his foot on the gas and eyes on the next level, JMack is proving that the road from casual hobbyist to respected voice is paved with intention, collaboration, and heart.
