Focurite Scarlett 18i8 3rd Generation Audio Interface | Root and Grind Vlog Unboxing

For years I have been using a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd Generation Audio Interface and for the most part I've been extremely satisfied. I started experiencing issues with the second headphone jack. Then later I'd experience connection problems, where the we'd here a big click/pop sound and the audio would stop and I'd have to turn the interface off and then back on, then repeat that process for about 15 minutes until we can play the audio without interruption or being disconnected.

I am usually using the interface in my home studio either with an AKG or BLUE condenser mic or an SM7B with the cloud lifter. I record mostly sax, vocals, guitar, keys and bass.

In this video, I open up my new 3rd Generation Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 and showed you guys my travel audio interface which is the M-Audio M-Track 2x2. For years, we've been M-Audio and Focusrite people, so let us know in the comments what you use for your set up? Dom Root Music Unboxing Video
