It's our Anniversary or is it our Birthday? Either way, we are excited!

We've been blogging for 3 years now, thanks for the Love.

It's been a great journey so far writing, reporting, and inspiring the writers of the Valley and our supporters in places like Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Chicago, and other places. It has always been our mission to highlight success stories and posit thought provoking literature. With the help of the writing community, we've been able to do that and take our Quarterly Poetry Contests to the next level.

This post is more of a show of gratitude, than a celebratory one. We've come a long way and have so far to go. But on behalf of Dom, Zera, Brandon, Mary, Kristi, Theresa, Niamey, Franisisco, Travis, and the gang, thanks for being apart of our growth, thanks for reading our work, submitting to our prompts, and keeping the field alive. It is because of dreamers and believers like you that we can still build platforms in a market that is seemingly over-saturated. But we will keep pushing our positive affirmations, thought provoking content, and being a beacon of light for our communities.

We look forward to more!

We've had the opportunity to feature 4 creative artists in our Spotlight Features (Leewater, Darius Mylik, Spirit, and Sonick), that are building a name for themselves and changing the status quo. We've covered many valley events and given writer's across the U.S. a digital platform and access to coaching and peer review. With your continued support we will be able to reach and go beyond our immediate goals.

This all started as an extension of the I Am Root Collective, but by the grace of God and the support of the city and abroad, we've been able to solidify our presence and carve out a lane for ourselves.

We support the I Am Root mission to inspire all of mankind by restoring often omitted traditions. We are committed to service and supporting causes by organizations that are in place for the advancement of humanity. So with that in mind, we want to continue our work in the non-profit sector connecting with groups like Free Arts of Arizona, Angel's for Athletes, Envizionaries, Faith for Change, Giving Back Corporation, Life of a Young Realist, Just Grow Inc., and more.

Thank you so much y'all,
