2nd Fridays at RISE Craft Coffee + Eatery just got better!
The I Am Root Collective will be teaming up with the RISE staff to put on a monthly open-mic for creatives and community members who love art. This evening will also feature ‘Local + On The RISE’ which includes one hour of Locals only music.

The idea of our latest event design, 'Point of View' is to help bring important perspectives to the surface, while giving artists and creatives a space to express. We understand how important it is for individuals to have a voice, for creators to have a voice, but we also understand how effective it is to give those voices a platform to speak and to rise. Rooted in our mission is a desire to cater and serve the local and up-and-coming music and spoken word community. With that being considered, we have a specialty Local's Hour dubbed as 'Local + On the Rise' where we have a customized one-hour playlist filled with both Local and Up-and-coming music artists (tunes will be played in-between performances and during brief intermission periods). Point of View or 'POV' is set to kick off on June 8th and the follow up dates are as follows July 13th, and August 10th.
