War Child (Found Poem)

In the span of a few hours, several people were killed and tens of thousand s were sent running for their lives.

Nearly a decade after war first arrived, Darfur is a land of mixed signals.

This is probably the least cost effective peacekeeping mission in UN history

There are factitious claims about improved security and woe to the man who disputes the UN line

Flooding Peacekeepers

Pulled back government forces

Government forces in Darfur are stretched thin these days

Bombings

Deadly protests

Rebellions

A region is backtracking

Economic malaise

Increase in rapes across the region

Paint

Personal and ethnic disputes are settled with the business end of the gun

Currency

Just surrendered

Kill

Reinvigorated

Alliance

Militia fighers

War Child, Child-War Fare
