it’s just me and the sun
out by the lake,
shimmering
innocently.
innocence is the sum
of what we’ve been exposed to
and the truths we’ve grown to learn.
the sun has gone to sleep.
now in this dark,
carnal thoughts consume me.
feeding into a fate that is worldly,
but more than ordinary,
follow me out by the lake,
i’ll treat you to some more of me.
